Frank became addicted to photography at the age of 16 when he developed his first roll of film. Early in his career he worked as a Medical Photographer and Portrait photographer.
He received a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Visual Studies Workshop. Before leaving education to open his own studio he headed the photography program at Villa Maria College in Buffalo N.Y. He has exhibited his work widely and has prints in many public and private collections.
He managed his own photography studio for over 20 years. Before relocating to St Petersburg, Florida he had studios in Costa Rica and Buffalo, New York. He spent 13 years living and working as a photographer in Costa Rica, specializing in architectural and hospitality work. He also has extensive experience in aerial photography, and travel photography. Working in Costa Rica has allowed him to work for a wide range of clients including hotels, travel companies, real estate developers, designers, and advertising agencies. His studio in Buffalo specialized in product, catalog, and industrial work. His years of experience show in the artistic and technical aspects of his work.
After returning to the States in 2010 he returned to education and taught photography at St Petersburg College until 2016. He is now spending his time working on his own Art.
